NORTON Sports enjoyed their first ever away win in the Kent League on Saturday when a second half header by the experienced Scott Appleton gave them a 1-0 win at Greenwich Borough.

Assistant manager Andy Payne said: “We showed the character and team spirit that got us into the Kent League.

“The result has given the boys a massive boost, we now need to reproduce the same desire and commitment for the rest of the season.”
