Animal group come to baby hogs' rescue

A HANDFUL of tiny hedgehogs has been handed in to an animal group working in Thanet.

Sandra Betts from Birchington is working with the Animed Vet Centre in Whitstable after a clutch of baby hogs was found in Thanet.

They are now being cared for by experts but Dr Betts warned that people should not try to look after baby hedgehogs if they find them this autumn.

Instead she says Thanet Wildlife Rescue is ready to help.
